Hey, I’m Taylor.

Hi, I’m Taylor Nakakihara, a 30-year-old lifestyle blogger born and raised in Southern California, now living in Arizona. I just turned 30 and am excited for what this chapter of life holds for me - I had more than my fair share of setbacks in my 20s, but I’m proud to say each one just made me funnier, smarter, and more capable.

I started my career as a blogger/content creator/influencer in 2013 with content focused on how great I was doing and how much I had overcome celiac disease and embraced obstacle course racing. Color me surprised when my list of shit to overcome didn’t stop there - my celiac disease diagnosis at 20 was followed by a full hip repair, and ADHD and autism diagnoses later in the decade. With all of these special circumstances forcing me to reinvent the way I took care of myself damn near every other year, I’ve learned how to do the work to find what fits me best, and how to give myself grace when I’m not able to crush it every day.

I love having a platform that allows me to share anything and everything I want - I like to embrace what works for me while also trying new things, and I want to share that with you! My favorite things are creating content, reading, doing my nails or an at-home beauty treatment, watching TV with my dog Quigley and cat Annyong, and hanging out with my friends, especially for girls' trips. I am learning to enjoy cooking again now that I am gluten-free, and I am the kind of person who is always trying some new craft they saw on the internet. You could say I don’t like to be bored, and you would be right! You can read about all of the above here, at Tnakakihara.com.

In this chapter of my life, this blog is all about discovering and embracing that which charges me up and brings me joy. I’m bulldozing my people-pleasing habits to channel that energy back to myself, and I’m so excited to share that adventure with you!
